How to activate your StoreViewer license

Before you start
You'll need your license key. This is emailed to you automatically by Lemon Squeezy when your purchase is confirmed — check for an email with the subject line "Your StoreViewer License Key" or similar. If you can't find it, check your spam folder or see I can't find my license key below.
Activating your license
- Open StoreViewer from your Applications folder
- When prompted, paste your license key into the activation field
- Click Activate
- StoreViewer will connect to the license server to validate your key — this takes a few seconds
- Once confirmed, the app will open and your license will be tied to this device
Your activation is stored locally. You won't be prompted to activate again on this device unless you deactivate your license or reinstall the app.
How many devices can I activate on?
This depends on which plan you purchased:

If you need to activate on a second device, you'll first need to deactivate on the current one to free up the seat. See Moving StoreViewer to a new Mac for how to do this.
Troubleshooting activation issues
"Invalid license key" Double-check you've copied the full key with no leading or trailing spaces. License keys are case-sensitive. If copying from an email, try selecting the key text manually rather than using a "copy" button, as some email clients add invisible characters.
"License already activated on another device" Your key is already in use on another machine. If that machine is still accessible, open StoreViewer on it, go to Settings → License, and click Deactivate to free up the seat. Then try activating again on the new device. If you no longer have access to the original device, contact us at sales [at] storeviewer.app and we'll release the activation for you.
"Could not connect to license server" StoreViewer needs an internet connection to activate. Check your connection and try again. If you're on a corporate network with strict firewall rules, the activation request may be blocked — contact your IT team or try activating on a different network.
Activation screen doesn't appear on launch If StoreViewer opens directly without showing the activation prompt, it may have already been activated previously. Go to Settings → License to check your activation status.
I can't find my license key
Search your email inbox for "Lemon Squeezy" or "StoreViewer" — the key is sent automatically at the time of purchase. If you still can't find it, visit app.lemonsqueezy.com and log in with the email address you used to purchase — your order and license key will be listed there.
